1/2" Wedi Washer Hanging Kit

When your mosaic gets larger or heavier, a standard hanging kit isn’t always enough. This Wedi Washer Hanging Kit is designed to give you added strength and stability when mounting 1/2" lightweight foam core substrates, especially for pieces over 16".

The included Wedi washers distribute weight across a wider surface area, helping prevent pull-through and giving you a more secure, long-lasting installation. It’s a smart upgrade when you want confidence that your work will stay safely on the wall.

Compatible with foam core boards such as Wedi Board, Kerdi Board, and GoBoard.

Kit Includes:

(4) Wedi washers

(2) D-rings

(2) Screws

(2) Acorn nuts

18" Hanging wire of #5 Super Soft Vinyl coated stainless steel cable rated to hold up to 43 pounds.

Important: Install the hanging hardware before beginning your mosaic. The washers must be installed from the front of the substrate (approx. 8" apart or less), which is covered once the mosaic is complete. 

Tip: The included hardware can also be used separately to hang two smaller pieces if needed.
