When your mosaic gets larger or heavier, a standard hanging kit isn’t always enough. This Wedi Washer Hanging Kit is designed to give you added strength and stability when mounting 1/2" lightweight foam core substrates, especially for pieces over 16".
The included Wedi washers distribute weight across a wider surface area, helping prevent pull-through and giving you a more secure, long-lasting installation. It’s a smart upgrade when you want confidence that your work will stay safely on the wall.
Compatible with foam core boards such as Wedi Board, Kerdi Board, and GoBoard.
Kit Includes:
(2) Wedi washers
(2) D-rings
Screws
Hanging wire
Acorn nuts
Important: Install the hanging hardware before beginning your mosaic. The washers must be installed from the front of the substrate, which is covered once the mosaic is complete.
Tip: The included hardware can also be used separately to hang two smaller pieces if needed.
